Located in Sydney’s quiet suburb of Box Hill, this proposed multi-residential apartment building is an undertaking in providing the residents with a connection to nature in a dense, urban setting known for its greenery.

 

Furthering the project’s environmental agenda,  the staggered terraces along the façade provide shading against natural daylight and maintain thermal performance and privacy. Inside the building, which houses 90+ apartments, windows are placed on both the northern and southern perimeter so tenants can enjoy cross ventilation. Interior spaces are designed in a way that they compliment the internal and external nature of the design.

 

The proposed design project will be consistent with the desired future character of medium density residential zone and high density residential zone and a proposal to utilise a zone for stormwater infrastructure.
