Steadily settling in the quiet suburb of Roseberry in the city of Sydney, this proposed house design manages to maintain the flexuosity along the steep topography of the site making the design engaging and creating private spaces for the residents while also maintaining its linear form and nature, especially in a neighborhood that has a mixed character which includes residential blocks and business parks.

 

The desire is to respect and reinforce the streetscape character and complement it with an addition that is precisely modern, yet sympathetic to its surrounding scale, siting, and materiality.

The planning of the home was shaped by making the most effective use of the site. The existing and proposed landscape was an equal and integral contributor to the overall design.
