The proposed mixed-use development project at Wells street in Frankston (VIC) consists of 2 commercial levels, 2 basement car park levels, and 2 parking levels at levels 1 & 2. The development further includes 6 residential levels above.

The challenge was to insert a large-scale mixed-use building incorporating retail and commercial space seamlessly into the fabric of a city. The result is a created a highly contemporary addition to the city that respects its vibrant nneighborsand provides an active public mid-block link.

The tower is expressed as a single contrasting volume with a modern insertion of the exposed concrete facade that compliments the balconies that comes out on the residential levels.

A genuinely public mid-block link creates a direct connection between the two adjoining Streets.
